Slowgrain Cleaner for Google Drive Terms of Service

1. Provider

By using the app you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. These terms do not represent Google approval or CASA certification.
2. Service and authorization
The app works only on files you pick in Google Picker or send from Google Drive's "Open with" menu. It compares their metadata and supported content fingerprints, shows exact duplicate and similar photo or video candidates, and keeps a cleanup history. It does not scan your whole Drive or find new files on its own. The separately installed local helper is optional and requires your explicit connection; it processes requested originals on your computer.
You must have permission to process the files and comply with your organization's rules. You choose the files, selections and schedules. Similarity scores are candidate scores, not proof of identical content. Review important files and keep backups before cleanup.
The app moves files to the Drive bin and can request restoration. It does not empty the bin or permanently delete files. Google's retention and storage rules apply to files in the bin; moving a file to the bin does not free storage until the bin is emptied. Restoration can fail if the file was permanently deleted, access changed, or Google is unavailable.
3. Automation and limitations
Scheduled actions run only after you turn them on, and they recheck only the files already in your list. You can stop schedules in the app or delete app data. Scheduled cleanup of exact duplicates and supported images follows the selected rules and safety checks. Crop, partial-video, document and audio candidates are not cleaned up automatically.
Browser media analysis depends on file size, format, codec and available memory. Detailed analysis of large videos requires the local helper on a running computer. No service can guarantee detection of every duplicate, no false positives, or availability in every environment.
4. Plans, billing, cancellation and refunds
Notice: Pro checkout is temporarily paused until the production release is finalized. No subscription is created until checkout is enabled and you complete payment.
The Free plan scans up to 30 selected files at a time. Pro costs US$2.99 per month or US$24.99 per year, plus any sales tax or VAT shown at checkout. Until 31 January 2027, the first payment has a launch discount: 15% for monthly (US$2.54) or 30% for yearly (US$17.49); renewals are charged at the regular price. Pro holds up to 10,000 files in your list and adds scheduled rechecks and optional automatic cleanup of those files.
Payments are processed by Paddle, the merchant of record, on the checkout page linked from the app. Checkout shows the final amount, currency, taxes, billing period, first-payment discount and renewal price before you pay. The subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel before the next renewal through the subscription-management link in Paddle's receipt email or by contacting support; cancellation stops future renewals and Pro continues until the end of the paid period.
You may request a full refund within 30 days of a payment, without giving a reason, by emailing support. Refunds are processed through Paddle. Refunded or reversed payments no longer provide Pro access. Statutory withdrawal, refund and other consumer rights remain unaffected.
5. Support, changes and fair use
Contact support with the error message, browser/OS, feature and approximate file count. Do not send access tokens, payment-card details, private file contents or sharing links unless specifically necessary and agreed. We may change features or suspend access to address security issues, abuse, legal requirements or operational problems. Material changes to paid service terms will be communicated before they apply where required.
We do not promise uninterrupted access or perfect comparison accuracy. This does not exclude responsibilities or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including those arising from intentional misconduct or gross negligence. We do not impose an exclusive foreign court or waive mandatory consumer protections; applicable law determines legal rights and the competent court. Contact support first so we can try to resolve a dispute.
